Tour Itinerary

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, greeted by the driver (Meeting point: Column 10) and transferred to downtown. Check in your hotel. Afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. Later, we have an overall view of the capital by cyclo in 1 hour, which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi Night activities suggestion: enjoy local beer at Ta Hien Streets, experience the ambience of sleepless street with life music, the young people of Hanoi and also foreign tourists. ~07.30 - 08.00 Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi. Head the south of Hanoi for 110 km.

 

Option 1: Visit Hoa Lu And Boat Tam Coc After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh. First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have quick visit two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen... to know why Hoa Lu was built as capital of Vietnam in ending of nine centuries. 12:00 – Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine. (on own budget) 13:30 – Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5-hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.

 

 Option 2: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda & Boat Trang An Visit Bai Dinh 

 

Arrive in Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Have lunch in a restaurant (on own budget) Depart to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take a boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see the scenery of mountain and rivers Halong Bay on the land of Ninh Binh. 17:15 – Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi 19:30 – Drop you off at your hotel/stay. 08:00–09:00: Shuttle bus pick-up and departure from Hanoi. Travel across the Red River Delta and arrive at the coast before noon. Board a beautifully crafted junk boat for an overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay.

Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board, surrounded by spectacular limestone karsts. In the afternoon, cruise towards a quieter area for relaxation. Depending on the season and weather, activities may include cave exploration, visiting a floating village, or kayaking.

End the day on the sundeck at sunset, followed by an aperitif or cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a private cabin with an en-suite bathroom.

Meet your guide at the hotel and depart Saigon by van. En route, stop at a local family workshop producing traditional rice paper and spend some time learning about their craft before continuing to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Arrive mid-morning and begin with an introductory video before exploring the historic site. Discover mantraps, the remains of an American tank, bomb craters, and the remarkable underground tunnel network. Spend time exploring the tunnels and learning how the Viet Cong lived and survived underground during the war.

Return to Saigon for an afternoon of city sightseeing. Visit the Independence Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam, including the historic War Room and rooms associated with the Fall of Saigon in 1975.

Continue to the War Remnants Museum, home to a collection of photographs, artifacts, aircraft, tanks, helicopters, and other displays documenting the Vietnam War and its impact.

Next, visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a striking Neo-Romanesque landmark built between 1877 and 1883 using materials largely imported from France. The cathedral will be viewed from the outside only as it is currently under renovation.

Enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Mekong River and visit one or two islands known for their traditional handicrafts, coconut candy production, and bee farms. Continue to Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the oldest and most significant pagodas in the Mekong Delta.

Enjoy a local set-menu lunch before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. The evening is free to explore the vibrant city at your own pace, with its lively bars, pubs, restaurants, and nightlife.
