Tour Itinerary
- Arrive in Chennai and explore Marina Beach, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, and Fort St. George on a city sightseeing tour.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Mahabalipuram via the scenic East Coast Road (ECR), offering beautiful views of the Bay of Bengal along the way.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and begin exploring the UNESCO World Heritage town of Mahabalipuram, renowned for its ancient Pallava-era monuments. Visit the iconic Shore Temple, one of the oldest structural stone temples in South India, overlooking the sea. Continue to the remarkable Five Rathas, a group of monolithic rock-cut temples showcasing exquisite Dravidian architecture.
Later, admire the magnificent Arjuna's Penance, one of the world's largest open-air rock reliefs, depicting scenes from Indian mythology with intricate carvings. In the evening, unwind at the serene Mahabalipuram Beach, where you can enjoy the coastal breeze and picturesque sunset.
